BUSINESS NUMBERS CHECK / PROPOSED SERVICE
Buying a small business? Start with a clearer set of questions. Trace the headline earnings back to the numbers behind them, before paying for deeper professional diligence.
Self-guided sample. No sales call.

THE WORKED EXAMPLE / 001
The statement says A$100,000. Its listed components produce A$90,000.
Compare with E04 · Stated EBITDA A$100,000
The schedule states A$80,000, which is A$10,000 above its listed items.
Compare with A04 · Stated add-backs A$80,000
Adding these items correctly does not establish that any item is a legitimate add-back.
COMBINED ARITHMETIC EFFECT
A$20,000 below the A$180,000 claimed in E05. This corrects the two sums only. It does not estimate sustainable or normalised earnings, or valuation.
The A$10,000 gap needs an explanation. Period coverage, accounting basis or adjustments may differ. This is not a proven error or evidence of fraud.
Ask for a reconciliation of the two schedules. The earnings calculation above continues to use E01; it does not silently replace it with the monthly sum.
Assets of A$210,000 equal liabilities plus equity of A$210,000.
B01–B04 · Assets / B05–B07 · Liabilities and equity / B08–B09 · Stated totals
A balanced statement does not verify its assets or uncover omitted liabilities.
C01–C04 · Cash movements / C05 · Closing cash / B01 · Balance-sheet cash
This matches the stated closing cash and balance-sheet cash. Bank support remains unknown.

RESPONSE PRIVACY NOTICE · VERSION 2
Operator: Lyramirae, an Australian registered business name. ABN 45 855 195 608. Privacy enquiries: contact@lyramirae.com. This is research for a proposed service, not an offer to supply a check yet.
What is saved: your five fixed-choice answers, the submission time, an expiry time, a research-phase label and a one-way hash of your random deletion receipt. We do not ask for names, email, business details, documents or payment information. Do not include personal or financial data.
Purpose and access: to assess whether the proposed A$99 business numbers check merits further development. Responses and aggregate counts are stored in the site’s SQLite database on a persistent Railway volume. Only authorised site administrators can inspect them through Railway private administration tools; there is no public response list or results endpoint. No advertising trackers or fingerprinting are added. Hosting providers process technical request data under their own policies; we do not promise that they retain no logs.
Retention: answers have a 30-day analysis window. On the next page visit, submission or deletion request, expired answers are removed and aggregate counts are refreshed using only unexpired answers. If the site receives no requests, the rows and last saved aggregate snapshot remain until the next request; there is no scheduled deletion guarantee. Provider backups and infrastructure logs are outside this application’s deletion control.
Your choice: submitting is optional. Use the receipt to delete the active response without providing identity or contact details. Keep it if you want to delete later; without it we cannot identify which anonymous response is yours. The receipt stays in this tab’s session storage until deletion or the session ends. If the browser blocks storage, keep the displayed receipt yourself.
This research is not a purchase, waiting-list signup or marketing subscription. The service is not yet available to buy. The report above is a manually prepared synthetic demonstration, not proof of a validated application.
